Drop, fill, swap

Four things happen and one of them is yours. The one that decides the invoice is the loading.

  1. 01

Book the stream, not just the size

Tell us what is going in it. If the job is one material we book it as that stream and the clean rate holds. If it genuinely is not, we book it mixed at £186.00 and nobody is surprised later.

  2. 02

    We drop

A hook loader needs the run-off clear behind the standing position — the can comes off the back, not off the side. A maxi skip does not. If the drop is on the highway we will need the council permit; we apply, you pay the fee at cost.

  3. 03

You load, and this is the part that prices it

Keep the stream clean. Not tidy — clean. The threshold is on the rate card and it is by weight, so one heavy wrong item costs more than a lot of light ones. Do not load above the rave; we cannot legally sheet a proud can.

  4. 04

We swap or collect, and the gate weighs it

Tare in, gross out, and the difference is what you are charged for. The ticket is the invoice. If the load has been re-graded, the ticket says so and says what did it.
