Two ways to average a year, and only one of them is a heap

#948774 Partitive. The six streams averaged in linear light by tonnage — the average your eye performs when it reads a loaded can as one colour from the pavement. This is what the site ships.

#887a5c Subtractive. The same year mixed as a product of reflectances — what happens when light passes through each material in turn, as it does in a glaze or an ink film. Darker by 5.2 L*, wrong by ΔE76 8.34, and shipped here only so the harness has something to fail against.

Rubble is a mosaic, not a stack. Light bounces off one piece or another and the eye adds it up; it does not pass through the concrete and then through the soil. That is the whole reason the left-hand colour is the one on your invoice.
