The hire
The price covers delivery, seven days’ hire, collection, tipping and VAT for the size and waste type booked. Extra weeks are charged as listed on the sizes and prices page.
Placement and access
You are responsible for choosing a safe place for the skip and for access for our lorry. We place boards under the skip but cannot accept responsibility for damage to drives or verges that cannot bear the weight. Skips on the public road need a council permit, which we apply for; the fee (currently £48) is passed on at cost.
What goes in
Only the waste type booked. Loads that contain prohibited items, or that change the waste type, may be re-charged at the correct rate or returned. Skips must not be filled above the top rail.
Weight
Every skip has a weight limit. Loads over it are charged per tonne as listed, and we may have to remove waste before the skip can be lifted.
Cancellations
Cancel free of charge up to 4pm the working day before delivery. After that, a wasted-journey charge of £60 applies.
